  1. Werewolves are, well in Stephenie Meyer's story they are. As long as they shift to the form every now and then that means they will stay the age forever

  2. I guess that depends on who is writing the story. I've read some stories were elves, vampires, and werewolves are immortal and others were they are just "long lived." Phoenixes are somewhat immortal as they are reborn from their own ashes. Some highlanders are immortal (that's a joke!)

It truly all comes down to who (or what) the author wants to live forever.

  3. Depends on what you mean by immortal and which myth's "logic" you are using.

Take an example, Gods are usually considered to be immortal, but plenty of mythologies like the Norse or Greek myths speak of the deaths of various gods.  Do you count an afterlife as being immortal?  Because some Gods seem to get an afterlife, some don't.

You could argue, using the Christian myth system, that humans are immortal, as much of the system is built around the idea of an immortal soul

Even vampires, in some fictional variants, aren't immortal.  Long lived sure, but some fictional vampires haven't souls and thus actually die when they're destroyed, other variants they could be reborn or go to h**l.  Most of the post-Anne Rice/Fred Saberhagen vampires have drastically altered the vampire from the Bram Stoker version, so it isn't as if there are rules you need to follow.

The whole point is, when you're dealing with a fictional creature, you need to decide which of the various possibilities you intend to adopt as the "logic" or laws of your novel.

  4. erm..alllll of them? :p

    lol

  5. well,

    werewolves,

    elves,

    dragons,

    zombies (although they're already dead)

    krakens,

    pixies,

    leopleradons,

some dwarves (depends on the author),

shapeshifters dont generally age unless they want to,

phoenixes, because they just get reborn when they burn up,

    griffins,

    mermaids,

    unicorns,

    pegaseus,

    leprechauns,

  6. Well if it's a fantasy story, it could be anything really. Werewolves (or any other were-creature) witch, shape shifters, demon, fairy, mermaid...

  7. werewolves and elves

  8. whoever you want to be immortal
