  1. Proving your better than our opponent

  2. money money money , mmmooonnneeeyyy. MONEY!!!

  3. I disagree that money is the biggest thing - these guys are the best at what they do and are paid accordingly. I think every NFL player strives to be in the elite of their position and make the Hall of Fame. If that's not what they want, then they wouldn't have played at least 8 years of High School and College ball to get to the NFL and suck.

Not everyone will be good though, some are busts (Ryan Leaf springs to mind lol!)

But these guys are professionals and beside the odd off the field issue, they all want to be recognised as the best.

  4. Money

  5. Gummy Bears

  6. I think football is about three groups, offense, defense and special teams working together as a single cohesive unit to achieve the same goal.

  7. It is about working together as a team to overcome obstacles, accomplish goals,  and knock the snot out of the opponent.

Oh, and it's about money too.

  8. Strategizing and beating your opponent into submission. Or maybe it's sportsmanship and camaraderie.

Seriously, today's professional athletes are more interested in money and fame than anything else. Winning the game is simply a means to that end.

  9. gold chains, nice thangs, poon-tang, and sometimes organizing illegal dog fights just for kicks...

  10. Well on a professional level it would be to be known and recognized and remembered.

For me at a club/High School level it would be to teamwork, to be supporting of your teammate through good and bad times and all so to inspire and lead as a defensive captain.

  11. ummmm hurting, tackl
