Best 11 in the season 2010-2011; Spanish La Liga - Part 2
Gerard Pique
The very young Spanish player is currently a part of the Spanish club Barcelona. Pique has never failed to amaze the audience with his great heading techniques. His control in the air and how he controls the ball is simply amazing. He was able to adapt the “tiki-taka” football that Barcelona and the Spanish team plays very quickly and swiftly.
Gerard Pique was able to help his team, Barcelona, win 6 trophies in their run in the 2008 and 2009 season. Pique was also included in the Spaniards’ first-team as there was no one better than him in all of Spain. Pique helped Spain win the FIFA World Cup 2010 as he played all the matches and was not given a suspension even once even though he plays as a centre-back.
Pique also has the ability to come forward and score goals as the current manager, Pep Guardiola, appointed him the job of a centre-forward during the match against Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League. Even though people took it as a shocking decision, he still managed to score the only goal of the match. Gerard Pique is definitely going to be number 3 for the best Spanish La Liga squad.
Carlos Puyol
The legendary centre-back Carlos Puyol “has been there done that!”; Even though the amazing Spanish centre-back announced his international retirement, he now plans on coming back for the Spanish team till the Europa Championship that is going to take place in 2012.
Carlos Puyol is currently the captain of the Spanish club, Barcelona, and definitely deserves the arm-band as he has accomplished everything. The player has won each and every trophy that is available to him. He was a part of the Barcelona team during the amazing 2008 and 2009 season, when they won 6 trophies as they won each and every trophy available to them.
On the other hand, he has also won the European Championship with Spain, back in 2008, when the Spaniards defeated the Germans in an action pact final game. He was also a part of the FIFA World Cup 2010, and helped his team pick the trophy as they won the match against the Dutch to win the tournament for the first time in their history. Carlos Puyol deserves to be in this position for the “best” Spanish La Liga team as he is going to be wearing a number 5 jersey.
Sergio Ramos
He is definitely one of the best right-backs in the world at the moment. With Dani Alves of Barcelona, being a competitor for this job, Sergio Ramos has always stood out. He was in the first team of the Spaniards as they won the FIFA World Cup 2010 and he showed the world that he was in full form throughout the FIFA World Cup.
He is currently playing for the Spanish club Real Madrid and is definitely the man who cannot be left out of the best team of La Liga. His ability to move forward from the right, giving pin point crosses and even the ability of scoring goals, is just outstanding. He can seriously be a threat to any left back of the opposition, as he can also dribble the ball well.
Sergio Ramos is one of those players, at the moment, who has the least number of critics because he is the best man for the job. During his previous season in La Liga; even though his team could not win the league, he still managed to help them end up at the number 2 spot. He was of great assist during the FIFA World Cup 2010, as he was not suspended either and he blended in well with the “tiki-taka” style of play. Sergio Ramos is going to wear the number 2 jersey for the “best team of Spanish La Liga!”
