  1. Don't buy cheap junk, like the brands suggested by your first 2 answers. If necessary, wait until you save up enough for a quality set, or drop down a size to 26". http://www.hdguru.com/your-new-disposabl... Also, for this smaller screen, you don't need 1080p resolution. 720p/1080i will work just fine, and save you some money.

That being said, the 2 best brands, in both performance and reliability, in a 32" LCD are Panasonic Viera and Sony Bravia. A little less expensive, but still good quality is the Toshiba Regza followed, perhaps, by Sharp and Samsung. You can get a Toshiba 32HL67 for about $600. Put '32 lcd hdtv' in your Yahoo or Google search box and you'll get numerous sites to compare prices. Stay with one of the brands I gave you and you will be much happier!

  2. Insignia by Best Buy.

    32"

    $579.00

    720p

    3 HDMI ports

    VGA port

    3 component

    2 composite

    optical

    sleek design,excellent picture.

I have my PS3 hooked up to it with a $30 HDMI cable, and this is a perfect combination.

Only thing is the sound is not too good,so it is a good idea to have at least a cheap sound system.

  3. the vizio's are pretty nice and under $650.
