  1. Hi Bburrows,

With your weight you can expect decent landboarding conditions from 10kph to 45kpg, i.e. 6mph to 30mph, depending on your skills.

UNDERPOWERED: Choose a smooth and flat surface. You'll need to constantly moove the kite within the window in order to gererate power AND you'll need to steer your board cleanly in order to build and keep speed.

OVERPOWERED: Very dangerous on hardland; you must be able to edge hard in order to bring your kite far on de side of the window. You'll gain great speed. Make sure you know how to kill 100% of you kite power (use the safety) AND remember that this will NOT stop your board. You need to know how to "break" by sliding the board. Even though your kite is not optimised for this, you might even catch some air (look downwind before your do...). Always wear a helmet!!!

If you need more info on WindRanges, check the websites of specialized ram-air kite makers such as:

I hope this helped! If u need more info on kiteboarding, check my profile and send me an email.

    Aloha!
