Best 8000lb winch?

I am looking for an 8000 lb winch...i don't have $600 for good warn m8000 but how about the ones on ebay? anybody tried em? Smittybuilt for $329 is it reliable? Any information will help...thanks

Save your money and buy the warn. It is the best one on the market.

I assume this is for a marine use.  I'd go with powerwinch or Fulton.  The suitability wouldn't be my choice.

There are lots harbor freight has some> Built you get what you pay for if using it for boat trailers why so big?? drive the boat up the trailer>I only use the winch for the last 6" No electric>Or is it for a truck???
