  1. A Christmas Story-1983.  It is a total classic.  I make sure to watch it every during the holidays.

  3. The Karate Kid. Very inspirational. Get him a body bag, yeaahhhh!

    Classic movie from the 80's. Made me want to take up Karate. I loved how Daniel Larrusso is picked on by those bullies but with the help of Mr. Myagi he enters the karate tournament and defeats them all. INspiring!!! Excellent movie!

I like the breakfast club. the range of emotions in that film are ridiculous. it has every high school stereotype. a geek, a prep chick, a jock, a rebel, a misfit. sadly no minorities. could have used a black dude, or maybe an asian. actually,I think john hughes nailed the asian population with dong from sixteen candles. yeah, he covers all the angles

  13. 'Wall Street' was a good film which totally epitomized the zeitgeist of the 80's, if that's what you mean.

    if you're talking about a film which I liked, which just happened to have been made in the 80's.... well, 'Mannequin' was a nice, easy film to watch
