I'm looking for one which is good but also (relatively) cheap.

Mobo is an ASUS P4SD-VL motherboard in a Sony pcv-rz504 desktop.

Looking to play games like COD4 and possibly Crisis (does NOT have to be on high settings etc.)

Would it be possible to fit two cheap graphic card which will out-perform a more expensive thing or does it not work like that?

  1. if ur looking to play crysis theres no way in fuckville with an agp card man sorry to tell ya but thsi would be your best bet http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as... and if your motherboard does not support pci express I highly doubt it will support SLI or CROSSFIRE (two cards together)

  2. Hello I am in the same situation you are with very similar system. If you find a solution please e-mail me

  3. As far as i know there is no Directx 10 for a Agp but there was talk on the net there are a few graphic companies looking in to it. When you look at sli or crossfiring your graphic cards. You also have to look at power surply and if your computer will need changing it. If your looking at price the latest Vista magazine worked how to make a gaming computer for under $500.00 au. Although you may have to go to vista but if you had the old Xp disks you could save a couple of hundred on the rig again.

  4. radeom 3850 is the best agp card out there. its as good as it gets. if you want anything faster or dual cards you will have to go pci-e
