  1. I personally love Sunset Jamaica Grand, it is an all-inclusive and about 3 - 4 years ago had an extensive renovation done to the hotel rooms, restaurants, pools, everthing.  I suggest you make transfer arrangements before arriving to MBJ as the ride from the airport to Ochi is approximately 2 hours long. You can do this on line at viator.com or with juta which is the largest transportation company in JA.  When I was in Ochi I booked with juta.  When at the resort there will be options for you to take the Nine Mile tour. I suggest you investigate it on line for the actual time frame needed for travel and to tour the area. If you go to www.visitjamaica.com (the official tourism website) you will find extensive information on transfers and tours as well as resorts.  In addition I do suggest visiting negrilonestop.com although it says Negril it has a link to the resorts in Ochi and a map showing you where they are located on the beach.

    Good luck!

  2. The new Breezes is very nice and all inclusive.  Just a note for you.  You looking at least a 3-4 ride to Kingston from Ocho Rio, and Kingston is not a nice city for tourists.

  3. We've stayed at the Sandals Resort several times and always enjoyed it.  It's an all inclusive resort and the atomosphere and food is great...so are the people there.  If you stay at Sandals, they have people who pick you up at the airport in Montego Bay an drive you to the resort.  It is about an hour or so away from the airport.  I'm not sure about going to Kingston.  You'd have to check with your travel agent or someone there at the actual resort.  Our agent told us not to go to Kingston as it's really a bad, crime ridden area.  Lots of gangs and drugs there, etc.

  4. Yes, the new Breezes is nice, but a tad expensive.  If you are going to be sightseeing most of the time, I'd recommend a regular hotel than an all-inclusive.

Cool Runnings Tours Jamaica can take you to Kingston and anywhere you want to go while you're here.  info@coolrunningstoursja.com.

    Enjoy your stay!!
