  1. Lay flat on your back with your hands behind your head.  Lift your feet a couple of inches off the ground.  Remember this position -- it is your Starting Position.  

    In a crunch-like motion, bring your elbows and knees together, hold for a second and return to Starting Position.  Repeat as many times as possible.  Start with 5 sets of 10, increase to 5 sets of 20.  Throw in a little variety and exercise your obliques by bringing right elbow to left knee and vice versa.


  2. Going off of what emily said....and remember to keep your lower back pressed into the ground. This is an exercise that I do myself and it works! but 2inches? lol that's insane, you should aim for higher, and you know it's working once you feel the burn.

    It comes with a video called Ab Ripper X.

    It is definitley the most Intense Ab exercise routine ive ever done in my life. it only last like 15 mins.

  5. lay on your back and hold your feet 2 inches off the ground, but don't arch your back in the process.

    count to 30, take a 10 second break, and do it again.

  6. when i do push ups i feel my stomach muscles working. another one i know is when you get in push up position but your arms are bent so the lower part is on the floor and they are bent at a 90 degree angle. it really makes your stomach muscles work. you can also do sit ups. if you go to exercisetv.com they have ab workouts that really work.
