  1. It depends on the maker.  A KWA will be better in every way than any crossman, Dboy or Both Elephant gun

  2. the exterior of the gun doesnt have anything to do with the performance. research and compare the interals (barrel, hopup, air nozzile, gear box etc.)

  3. This is a post from a website( I didn't write this)-

    Available Models:

M4a1/m733- Version 2 Mechbox, Stock mag: 68 rounds, hicap: 300rnds (other brands go up to 450), Uses mini-batteries, Lots and Lots of aftermarket accessories, collapsible.

Probably the most common AEG. There are lots of accessories available to change the look, hold larger batteries, and mount under barrel ?grenade launchers? (which work like shotguns). Most real-steel accessories will work without much trouble on these guns. A good AEG, the TM hicap doesn?t hold very many rounds, but it performs very, very well. Other brand hicaps are available; though do not seem to be as consistent with performance. M4s suffer from a ?barrel wobble? which is a slight wobble in the barrel assembly due to loosening screws. It can be tightened, but will probably loosen again. It is not terribly significant, but it varies from piece to piece. M733 does not suffer from this as badly. Hop-up setting can be touchy.

M16, SR-16- Version 2 Mechbox, Stock mag: 68 rounds, hicap: 300rnds (other brands go up to 450), Uses large batteries, Lots and Lots of aftermarket accessories. Full stock

Similar to M4, both suffer from barrel wobble.

AK47, Beta Spetz, AK47s- Version 3 Mechbox, mag: 68 round, hicap 600rnd and 250rnd ?shorty?, uses large batteries (AK47s uses mini-stick type). Some aftermarket parts available, typically real steel parts will not fit on as dimensions are significantly different. Full stock (AKs has a folding stock) Considered a very reliable AEG. The large capacity magazines are an especially nice feature, though the performance often is not as dependable as an M4 magazine. Full stock AK47 is fairly long and heavy. Beta Spetz is an especially appealing AEG for newcomers as it combines high magazine and battery capacity with a shorter and lighter build.

G36C- Version 3 mechbox, 68 round mag, hicap 470rnd, uses mini battery. Aftermarket parts available, especially conversion kits to make it a K or KE. Folding stock. Very nice body on this gun, high capacity magazines can require some ?break in? to work dependably.

MP5-series- Version 2 mechbox (MP5K uses Version 3), 30 round standard, 200 round hicap, 240 round ?double shorty?, Full stock uses large batteries, collapsing stock uses mini, mp5k uses stick type. Lots of aftermarket accessories available. Another common series, many people find these economical. The magazines, however, have a low capacity and have a reputation for not having the best functionality. However, the guns themselves are compact and easy to wield.

G3 series- Version 2 mechbox, 70 round standard, 500 round hicap Full stock uses large batteries, collapsing stock uses mini batteries. Lots of accessories available. Magazines have both a high capacity and good reliability. G3SG1 and G3A4, G3A3 have long barrels, and long length which may be a plus or minus depending on your playing style. MC51 in particular is a good compact gun with excellent magazine capacity.

Steyr AUG- Version 3, 80 round standard, 330 round hicap, uses mini batteries and AUG type, full stock. An interesting gun with fairly easy breakdown. Magazines are fairly reliable. The gun itself is a bit heavy, but the barrel length is the longest of any other gun (although this in itself does little). Military model comes with a worthless built-in scope. I recommend the civilian version with a top rail.

Sig Series- Version 3, 43/60 round standard, 220 hicap, uses stick batteries in the 550/551 and mini batteries in the 552, folding stock. A compact gun, the magazines are comparable to the MP5 for capacity but a bit more reliable. The 550 and 551 are hard to find as they are discontinued. They offered a ?3 round burst? feature which may have had reliability issues, but not quantifiable. This is a light and compact gun.

Uzi- Version 5 mechbox, 55 round standard, 220 round hicap, uses mini-stick type batteries, folding stock, very few accessories. This is far more unreliable than any other AEG. It uses a plastic mechbox, and internal parts that are not available to buy. This is not an AEG for a beginner. It features several metal parts and a small ?blow back? feature which gives the gun a little bit of kick.

M1A1 Tommy gun- Version 6 mechbox, 60 round standard, 190 & 420 round hicap, large battery. A very stylish gun, this is a bit more expensive out of the box than other AEGs. It works very well, though easily the heaviest of the Sub-machine gun class. Some pieces have a slight barrel wobble, which can be temporarily fixed by tightening the screws, or the barrel screws can be replaced.

Famas- Version 1 mechbox, 60 rnd standard, 300 round hicap. Large type battery.

    P90- Version 6 mechbox, 68 rnd standard, 300 round hicap, mini-type.

    Myself-

I love my M16. I like the little extra range it gives me. I really want a FAMAS however.
