Question:

Best All Inclusive for Cabo Nightlife?

Looking for a very nice 4-5 star, all inclusive in Cabo, don't want to pay a fortune or haggle for late night cab fares; So far, have come up with Riu but does it have a swim beach or not? One site said not the front of the resort due to rough water but 400 meters south, another said overlooks Medano Bay. Confused on that. Also Dreams and Melia but so far I think they are down the corrider so could cost a lot for cabfare at night.

Any others I'm missing?

Thanks so much for your help!

  1. Hola!  You picked the right place.  The RIU palace would be your best bet.  Then there is the Melia CSL and the "3 different Villas resorts".  All are easy access to the cabo nightlife and are rated at 4-5 star.

Honestly, the beaches in Cabo are a little rougher than say Cancun.  But not necessarily unswimmable.  Medano beach is a GREAT place to swim and for all the water sports...snorkeling not so good (no reef or rock).  Most people take a snorkel trip out the Chileno/Santa Maria bays or take a water taxi across and snorkel at Lovers beach.

Dreams and the other Melia are out on the corridor, so you are right you will pay for taxis to get to the nightlife downtown (buses stop running really early).

The other all inclusives are about 20 minutes out in a town called San Jose del Cabo (they are called Crowne Plaza, Royal Solaris, El Presidente).

    Have a great vacation!

  2. Finestera close to town and all inclusive or give me a call happy to help.

  3. Riu Palace is the only one all inclusive in Cabo San Lucas.

It's on Medano beach, but on the north part, and usually, big waves hit it. As they told you, about 400 m. south, closer to the marina entrance is more quiet, since is protected for the Land's End point.

Check my maps, to have a better idea.

Taxi to downtown party will be only $5 bucks

    Have fun
