Best Amp For My 15"?

Question

Im getting this sub:

(SPL Champion Series Pioneer 15" TS-W8102SPL)

Can an experienced car audio specialist/user tell me what would be the best amp for that sub thats under $500.00. And what would be the BEST gauge wire to use to hook that amp to my batery.

And pleaze dont tell me that i need to upgrade my alternator and battery... I already know he whole deal!

Last question, when do you guys think the price for that sub will go down?

u can get 4 12' subs for less then that THATS REDIC...but i have seen it done...first wa kinda car u got?...try 3 12's and get pioneer amps...they kick...or kicker of course...for that 3000 watts get anything under 2200 to be safe u dont want anything over 2900 ull blow the speaker....also get a battery relocation kit if u got room so u can put in 2 or 3 batteries to power all the amps ull need ull problly need 4 or 5 amps if u want to hit HARD!!!!  one amp for like 2500 watts will cost like 3,000$ its really not wirth the trouble in my mind...but go for it....
