Best Anime or Manga?

I watch anime and read manga a lot, so ive seen and read a bunch. But i'd like to get into another series and i need some help finding one. So if you would, please say the name of the title and if it is an anime or manga and then say a little about it. plz :] thanks.

fushigi yuugi is the best its both in manga and dvd form its a great anime!! the creator is yuu watase she also made the anime ceres celestial legends both are great and well worth reading and watching

No one has named the best anime ever yet... it makes me sad. Yu Yu Hakusho. it was a classic, gave a lot of influence in dbz and a lot of others. If you watch it, you will love it

Well, it seems that you read a lot of shojo manga, so I would recommend Faster than a Kiss, Millennium Snow (same mangaka as Ouran), and Captive Heart (by mangaka of VK) to start with. They're pretty short, but you can find more series-es if you go onto http://www.mangaupdates.com and search by genre.

KATEKYO HITMAN REBORN!

it's insanely popular in taiwan (where i'm from XD), but not as popular in north america. but it's absolutely amazing, and currently my favourite series c:

d. gray-man is very good as well. lovely complex is a good romantic comedy, if you want to watch/read something from that genre.

theres a new manga by the creators of death note, it's called bakuman. theres only 2 chapters out so far, but its preeetty different from death note.. i still think it's really good though.

you can also check out series by authors of your favourite mangas/animes, you know. like hoshi wa utau by the author of fruits basket, millenium snow by the author of host club, shugo chara by the authors of dearS.. and so on.

also.. if you like tsubasa, you should check out xxxholic! same authors, and the stories cross over at times.

In my opinion I believe that Death Note is a really good anime/manga series!

And there's this new anime that's on adult swim, I forget the name but it comes on right after Code Geass (another good newish anime that came out). There are also other good anime but I assume that you already know them all LOL, I'll list them anyways!
