  1. There are not any lobsters in Florida.  There are longusta or spiny lobster.  A very closely related critters, but without the large claws.  There is no place in that area to find them.  They have been fished out.  You would have to go offshore a ways.  You can catch them in the Bahamas or the Keys.  However, you might get shot at in the Bahamas.  There are lots or laws and restrictions concerning longusta and you'll need a license.

  2. I didnt know Lobsters could be caught in Florida.

    I was only aware of shrimp and crab.

  3. Any of the reef or rocky area will hold Spineys right now.We used to target them in less than 25 feet of water and free dive for them,Check with the local dive shops and they will have a lot of info on some areas to start.
