Best Baja CA Vacation spot?

Some friends and I are looking to go camping in Baja CA for a weekend...whats the best place to go? Ensanada? We would love a place to pitch a tent on the beach...we live in San Diego, just a hop over the border

I am a big fan of Cabo San Lucas, but your question is a little tricky.  If you are wanting to do a quick drive over the border and pitch a tent, then I think that Ensenada would be fine.  

But if you are looking to do a week vacation, I like Cabo.  It is a great Fishing Port, has some beautiful all inclusive resorts, and a fun nightlife.  I was there last December and the weather was perfect!!

Looks like La Mision/Alisitos would be the closest. Weather very hot right now, good cheap Margaritas at Hotel La Mision. All services available.

you can come 60 miles south of the border to Alisitos great beach, great surfing or go 5 miles south of there to Jose Palapa $5 a day camping great beach and showers a mile north of baja seasons.
