What is the best bank for a college student?

It might be the credit union at your school if you have one, otherwise a national bank will do just fine.  The credit unions are not-for-profit and provide good interest rates and less fees in general.  National banks are more stable and trustworthy than state banks (once again, in general).

Just find the bank that suits your needs the best.  Is it ATM availability, savings account interest rate?  The answer lies within my friend. ;-)

I really like the Bank Of America CampusEdge Checking.

There is no minimum balance.

No maintenance fee.

Your parents can put money in it if they need to easily,

Plus there is also that online banking thing that helps keep track of your money.

You can also look up the banks around your area. They might be good too.
