I don't care for Iam's because of their inhumane tests/horrible food quality/recalls because food caused the deaths of many dogs but here's another:

  2. Most terrier breeds are great little dogs. I love Yorkies, but they do have long hair if you let it grow out.

  3. Go to your local shelter and you will find the dog that is right for you! :):)

  4. Honestly, none.

You're going to be going to college in about 2 years. College dorms don't allow pets, and many colleges require you to live on-campus for at least your first semester. Not to mention, you'll be so busy during college with school, working, and social life that you won't have time for a dog. And dogs are expensive, expect to spend at least $1500 a year just for maintenance (feeding, vet checkups, etc), most college students can't afford that.

Wait until after college to get a dog. It's worth the wait.

  5. Now I would recommend getting a dog that is from a shelter.. I think should get a Pit Bull they are so misread. they pass the temperament test more than german shepard and border collies. they love people and if you get one as puppy and socialize  with other dogs it will do great.. i personally adopt one and he gets along with great Pyrenees and border collie and he is very smart. they love to please there owners. breeds that i would stay away from are Dalmatians, Labs, unless it is golden retriever. but the best probably to go to the shelter and let the dog pick you

Take this. it lead me to my baby!!

  7. you can go to your local animal shelter and find one there. Australian Shepherds are nice too. very smart and friendly. not short haired though. but like i said...animal shelters are great places to find a loving companion for the rest of their life

  8. I would recommend a lab.  They are cute, playful, and oh so friendly.  They aren't small but more on the medium size. I know that they are popular but for good reason.

  9. You can try a cardigan welsh corgi.

  10. i would recommend a dachund of chihuaha or smaller dog, they are small and easy to take care cheap to feed,  of but do some research on the different coats, as you are only sixteen, when you get old enough to get out of the house, renters are more likely to allow a smaller breed dog than a bigger breed, i own a dach, and he is very playful and loves people, but with any dog it depends on how you socilize them.

  11. Try this: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/search.htm

It's a quiz/test that will find a suitable breed for you.

    Hope that helps! =]
