Best Beginner Boat, or Cheapest Boat with regard to Quality? Looking for under 20K...thanks?

Depends what you want to do on the water.

I waterski and wakeboard. At the beginning of this season i bought a Bayliner 175XT which has been brilliant - wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Brand new cost about £13,500.

Depends. What type of boat are you looking for? Do you want a "fishing boat",( a boat mainly used to fish from), a "pleasure/run-about", ( used mainly for day-trips & riding around in), or a "cruiser" ,( used like a "RV" on the water).

How many people do you want to be able to take on your boat? Are you going to be using it in "fresh" or "salt-water"? Ocean cruising?

Flat bottom, V-hull, Semi-V hulled?

You have to answer these questions before I can give you any advice on the type of boat to purchase.
