  1. "Best" is always a matter of opinion, but the two biggest are

WUSL FM 98.9 ("Power 99")   and WPHI FM 103.9.  Check them out.

There is also WDAS FM 105.3, which aims for a more adult audience, and smooth jazz WJJZ FM 106.1, if that's your style..

  2. you can check here.

  3. Well, I've lived in Philly for a long time and I have to say that most of the Black/African American stations are lack substance.  The music is

cookie cutter and the program is deplorable.

So, I've been listening to a multicultural station off and on and found the program to be top notch.  The station is 1540 AM WNWR.

I first started listening to the station when I saw an ad card at the supermarket that advertises one of their shows, Technically Speaking

Radio.  I found a link to their podcasts when I did a search on their name,

    http://feeds.feedburner.com/Technically-...

This show and station has substance and really knocks out all of the other stations in Philly.

    Good Luck!
