Hmm.. Well I will have to say Monty Python's holy grail. It is definately my favorite.

For more franchise like films I guess the first Star wars (I guess it counts as it was mostly filmed in England) and James Bond series.

Apart from those, there are a lot of of funny, good, thrilling films coming out of Britain. Still, holy grail is my all time favorite movie from GB.
