Best Canadian Province?

Okay, so me and some friends want to travel to Canada. We are thinking of flying in, but I was wondering which province or city would be the best to fly into cost wise, and which one would have the best tourism. We are looking for maybe a beach, but more an interesting city with access to interesting wildlife. We also kind of wanted one that has easy access to other close, interesting cities. Does anyone know which one would be the best? Thanks! Oh, and if we drove, then where should we go? Thanks agains!

  1. Come to BC  Vancouver is a great city  .If you like like the out doors start packing  . see hellobc and tourismvancouver for free guides

  2. Without a doubt British Columbia is the best province to visit. Vancouver has something for everyone, It was voted twice as the worlds' #1 city to live in! This city has loads of beaches where you can relax, and thee is plenty of outdoor stuff to do, and some of the best patios where you can hang out with friends, and share a few cold ones.

There are many ways you can enjoy the city and it truly depends on what you are seeking in your visit. Are you looking to party your heart out? Then head to Granville and Robson Streets for nightclubs, bars, and concerts.

Vancouver is warm and welcoming, as well as friendly and vibrant. People actually say hello to you on the street when passing!

Whistler is also close by maybe a 2 hour car ride away and you can also take a ferry ride to Victoria BC as well.

  3. You need to provide some more information. Where are you located right now...costs of flights are usually dependent on the length of the flight, same with driving since Canada is a very LARGE country.

  4. l need more details cause canada is very huge

  5. Air Canada and United have daily flights to Toronto from Denver International Airport. I would think that since Toronto is a central hub in Canada, the flights to that area would be less expensive than elsewhere if you are going to fly to Canada on the east coast.

The other places Air Canada and/or United fly to directly from Denver are Vancouver, Calgary, and Montreal. I figured living in Denver, you already have seen the Rockies and experienced the lifestyles in that area. Vancouver is a bit like Seattle or San Francisco in terms of weather.

So my suggestions to you would be:

    Toronto:

    - Get to see Niagara Falls,

    - Boat tours of the Great Lakes,

    - Take in a show, as they have great theatre and events.

    - Go see a baseball (AL-Blue Jays), Canadian football (Argos), or basketball (Raptors) game.

    - Sample the local menus in Chinatown

    Montreal:

    - Take in a different culture (French)

    - Experience the European look and feel without spending a lotta money to go to Europe.

    - Drive to Quebec City (3hrs away) and help celebrate their 400th birthday. (founded 1608)

    - Enjoy great food

    - Montreal is known as the "city of festivals" in the summer, there is always something happening.

On the other hand, if you are driving, my two suggestions would be Vancouver or Calgary.

  6. St.John's, Newfoundland is the best. Everyone who visits there has a great time. Enjoy Canada !

  7. Head north to Alberta.   There are a lot of great things to see here and we're right next to the Rockies.   The Rockies are where you'll find all the wildlife, not to mention great scenery!

If you'd like to see some of the most beautiful scenery in the world you need to come here. There's a lot of great hiking and backpacking and tons to see and do.

You can drive up to Edmonton as well although not too much happens up there.  There are some things to do though.

From Calgary you can take a different trip every day for a week or two and see new things all the time, not to mention all the stuff inside Calgary as well.

  8. You have choices!  Vancouver is a great city with beaches, great restaurants and night life plus Grouse Mountain to climb.  You could also drive to Whistler from there in a couple hours.  Calgary is also great but no real beaches.  Banff is close to Calgary and is awesome for hiking and outdoor adventures.  Toronto is a little far from Denver if you were to drive, but if you did go to Ontario you would have more big cities to choose from that are only a few hours away from each other.  I have never been beyond Ottawa so I can't comment on Quebec or the Maritime provinces.  I personally would vote that you go to Vancouver.

  9. NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE was named the "prettiest" town in Canada in 1996. This small historic town is located at the mouth of the NIAGARA RIVER and LAKE ONTARIO. NIAGARA FALLS, and its new Casino and many tourist attractions are a beautiful 20 minute drive along the scenic Niagara Parkway that follows the NIAGARA RIVER. NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE was the first capital of Upper Canada before the government was relocated to TORONTO which is about 1 1/2 hours away. The town was left with many historic homes of substance and an adorable main street called Queen Street. The town is home of the SHAW FESTIVALS three theatres and boast to have one of the finest acting ensembles in North America. Due to this clientele you will find Niagara-on-the-Lake and its many shops and restaurants to be first class compared to the glitz of Niagara Falls.CRYSTAL BEACH, Ontario, Canada is a quaint historic town is located in the Region of Niagara on the SANDY SOTHERN SHORES of LAKE ERIE, about two hours south of TORONTO.
