Best Car Under 1600cc with cruise control?

All you car buffs:- Can anyone tell me if there is a family four door car out there in Britain under 1600cc (to avoid the higher road tax) but comes with cruise control.

I wouldn't tie yourself to sub 1600cc vehicles: It depends on the age & emissions, and even the newer tax bracketings are changing. On older, pre 2001 vehicles, the demarkation for road tax pricing is 1550cc, but that doesn't apply to more recent vehicles:

I'd probably say a Mercedes-Benz C180 Elegance, or for abit more money, the avantgarde (sport)

Why do you want cruise control in the first place?

I have it on my Jaguar and never use it.

The traffic conditions in the U.K.will not allow it to be used.

As soon as you have set it you have to brake which cancels it out and you have to set it again.

This includes motorways.

Waste of time.
