Best Caribbean Island on a Budget?

I wish to go to the Caribbean in the first week of May and stay there for a good 5 days.

My flight is covered, just gotta choose an island to visit. I don't want to spend a lot of money though would like to have a memorable time.

20 yr old male, (18 drinking age right?).

Don't go to the Caymans-its very expensive. I would say St. thomas or St. martin. I would do Mexico like Cancun, or Cozumel though if you are just looking to party. Drinking age is 18 there as well.

St Maarten. Great island to have a memorable time.

Check out Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort or Divi Little Bay Beach resort.

Cancun is always a good place to have a great time and reasonable because you have many all-inclusive resorts to choose from.

Puerto Plata in Dominican Republic is also a good place to party and have fun.

Definitely St. Lucia. I've been there a few times and you can do a lot on a budget. They have various accommodations from affordable to luxury. Try staying in Rodney bay.
