  1. 1.)Williy mays gold glove awsome arm over 600 hr and who can forget that play in the ws would be the best if he didnt leave to fight in the war

2.) Micky mantle good power hitter hit most of his homers close 500 ft 2 bad he was a drunk

3.) Ken Griffey Jr gold glover gret powere griffey owned the steroid age clean 2 bad he got injured 2 much

  2. Willie Mays. Do I really need to explain?

  3. Willie Mays, no doubt. The best playing today, is probably Grady Sizemore. That kid's got potential.

  4. Ty Cobb was definitely the best centerfielder of all time.I would probably put Mickey Mantle next and then Willie Mays and then Joe DiMaggio

  5. Willie Mays Hayes aka Wesley Snipes

Willie Mays the real Willie Mays :)

  6. Willie Mays:

    Willie Mays Awards:

    20 Time All Star

    13 Time "Gold Glover"

    1951-NL-ROY

1954-ML-Major League Player of the Year

    1954-NL-MVP

    1963-ML-AS MVP

    1965-NL-MVP

    1968-ML-AS MVP

    1971-ML-Roberto Clemente Award

Elected into the HALL OF FAME in 1979!

    Willie Mays Stats:

    #1 AVG in MLB History

    #1 OBP in MLB History

#3 Most Total Bases in MLB History...

And I could go on!  The stats above describe why I would want him on the Mets!

    Good Luck!

  7. It's not close and anyone says anything other than Willie Mays doesn't know anything about baseball.

PS. To the buffoon who says Aaron, Aaron was a right fielder.

  8. I'll take Mickey Mantle.  His knee injuries started when he was playing right field, so I get to pretend that they never happened.  Mantle was faster than Willie Mays, and was better at reaching base.

  9. who else? willie mays!

  10. I think he played centre, Willie Mays, If not him then Hank Aaron and if not him then Griffey Jr.

  11. I would have to agree with the others and say Willie Mays who was arguably the best player to ever play the game.

  12. Willie Mays, and lol Schiller, I loved that movie =P  Only Wesley Snipes though, the next guy that tried to be him was terrible.

  13. That's easy, it's Willie Mays and after him it's Ken Griffey Jr.

  14. Ken Griffey Jr or Willie Mays They contribute with the runs and Can take away VERY many hits and runs

  15. Willie Mays

  16. Willie Mays was exceptional but I would take Ty Cobb instead.  Nobody will ever come close to his career .366 batting average.

    BA - 1st

    Hits - 2nd

    2B - 4th

    3B - 2nd

    Runs - 2nd

    RBI - 7th

    SB - 4th

edit: Cobb did play some Right Field but his primary position was Center Field.  http://www.baseballhalloffame.org/enterw...

  17. Carlos Beltran... just kidding. figured i'd get a little bit of a gasp out of some people with that one since the question is so easy...

    it's Willie Mays.
