Best Chinese Restaurant in Pittsburgh PA?

Hi I am looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the Pittsburgh, Pa area to take my daughter for her 16th birthday. Not... PF Changs been there several times, good but we want to try something different. Thanks so much for your help.

Sesame Inn is hands-down the best. They are locally-owned and there are 4 locations throughout the city. They are voted the best Chinese restaurant in the area by Pittsburgh Magazine every year. They have a location at Station Square which is a nice place to visit with teenagers... they have comedy clubs and other cool places you could check out.

this place called the steelers china palace.  my friends likes it alot.....order the steelers curtain balls, their specialty.

Sesame Inn is good but in my opinion the BEST is Pan Asia... It's on Route 51 South about a mile before Century III Mall - It used to be a china buffet place and I think a lot of people assume that it still is so it hasn't really caught on yet. When I have family in from New York they demand to eat there. They have Chinese, Japanese - including a great sushi bar - and some Thai on the menu as well.

If that's outside of your area you'd like to travel in though I'd like to suggest The Chinatown Inn downtown. It's on 3rd Avenue in what used to be Pittsburgh's Chinatown.

Kate, I don't live in Pittsburgh PA, I live in London England and in about an hour I 'm going out to get pissed up because the Mrs is gone to her firms Christmas do and left me on my own, so my first divisional friends have invited me to a p**s up.

Do you know what Kate? I can't tell you about Chinese restaurants in Pitts burgh but I can say that in Greenwich where I.m off to to nite there are numerous restaurants from every different culture in the world. Since I.m in a party mood how about a dance.
