Best Chocolate and Strawberries?

im trying to make my friends like chocolate covered strawberries

but i dunno where to get like good chocolate and starberries..

i live in vegas O_O..and soo like does anyone know which store brand chocolate is like good? and where to get good strawberrys and

which way is a good way to ship them?

Strawberries can be picked up at almost any grocery store. Look for ads in the Wednesday newspaper as they'll sell a lot of them so they'll be fresher. Then look for really green stems and caps with no white shoulders. The berries will be sweeter. Then take a bag of semi sweet chocolate chips and add enough heavy cream to where the berries are coated but not swimming. I then heat the chocolate cream mixture on low on the stove or very slowly in a microwave. Wash, dry and CHILL your berries then dip the berries and chill them again on a wax paper covered sheet pan in the fridge. They don't ship well unless they are chilled. They are best the day they are made since the berries are delicate to begin with!

Just go to the store and get some chocolate.  Break up the chocolate into little pieces and put it in a bowl. Boil some water and put the bowl over the boiling water. It should melt the water. Get some long wooden sticks (i have no idea what to call them) And stick it through the strawberrys and them you know what to do.

I've linked to a website that has tons of different really incredible chocolate covered strawbrry recipes. They're really gourmet and unique.  Your friend will love them.  :).  I'd recommend using their chocolate.  It's "to die for."

Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips are excellent!!!  Strawberries can be found at any market.  Shipping is tricky since its summer time, maybe putting them in egg cartons so they stay in place??
