Best City Break end of October?

i want to take my gf away for her 30th at the end of October and cant decide where to book. Fancy a city break for about 3 days... what would you recommend... and things to do please? Thank you

Paris - cliche but it is a fabulously romantic city. Eiffel tower, catacombs, champs elysee,

Barcelona - absolutely kicking night life and tons to see & do in the day. Sagrada Familia, Climb up Nelsons column at the end of the ramblas (it could actually be columbus but you know what i mean!), Parc guell, La Ramblas. Harlem Club for live bands (flyer from tourist info will let you know what is on), Eat at Pla or RePla for a fantastic meal. Origins is also very good.
