  1. Melbourne

  2. Melbourne is the way to go! If your worry about getting a job go on www.seek.com.au and see if there are job in Melbourne and  Ramsay is opening up Restaurate in Melbourne

  3. I've lived in both, I love Sydney, lived there for a decade, but now that I'm older, I'd pick Melbourne, (currently in Brisbane) more space, more laid back, anything with Engineer on the end of it won't give you any problem.  If you feel like spending more money, go to Sydney, it is truly a fantastic city, or just rent, take jobs for two or three years or whatever they want then change cities before you buy your own place.

  4. I'd pick Brisbane..not so populated..a little quieter.I left Sydney after some 40 odd years and the only thing I miss are the music venues, museums, record shops and cinemas and friends. I recently went back for some conference and was astounded...too many people, touristas, prices and I couldn't breathe because of the air pollution..this is only 5 years since we left for the hills of the Far North Coast. You still have a chance to work in Brisbane and not live too close to the city itself...If you don't have a job waiting, you can find yourself with your savings very quickly slipping away...If I had another chance...I'd hit Perth. Some broad horizons still there. Good Luck.

  5. Sydney, but it's expensive.
