Hey all,

I'm a 20 year old Canadian girl planning to work abroad for a few years, and I'm undecided on which city I should live in. I'd love to visit all of them, but being as I haven't been to any of them yet, I'd love advice or recommendations from anyone who has- especially if you moved to any of them from somewhere else.

So which is it; London, Edinburgh, or Dublin? Hah, in other words; England, Scotland, or Ireland? Or is there an entirely different city you'd recommend? Thanks for any feedback =)

  1. You cant work abroad for a few years unless you have a work visa with special skills required by the country your going to.

But to answer your question ... Best city to live in is Copenhagen Denmark, none of the ones you have listed.

  2. I  would reccomend London. Its a very multicultural place accpeting of newcomers/foreigners. Theres great potential to make loads of money there aswell, loads of jobs!

Ive been to Dublin and found the people more friendly there, but its incredibly expensive. I havent been to Edinburgh yet, so cant really give my opinion.

Have you thought about other cities within England, Scotland and Ireland? The ones you have choosen are very expensive places to live, property prices and the cost of living are astronomical! I would suggest you consider places like Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Belfast, Cork, Glasgow. They are a lot cheaper and being cities other the same opportunities to the capitals you listed.
