  1. Capital One for good credit and Orchard Bank for less than perfect. The thing is that those intro periods are up to based on your credit history. Honestly at your age you have only a couple of years of credit history. if you apply for a Chase that has up to 12 months, you will probably get 3 months of zero interest. You could look for a card that has a lower fixed interest rate and you would save more over the years.

  2. I,d advise going for a card on low fixed standard rate rather then a promo of 0% as when the 0% end,s your standard rate is at a variable rate which means no matter how good your credit history  the rate can increase to what the company See's fit.

if you look on money supermarket .com there is a card with Virgin that's 4.9% for the life time of the balance. and you can transfer cash into your bank account at this rate which is better than a personal loan.

your other option is to go for a card on 0% on retail for 6 months and 0% on balance transfers and money transfers for 15 months (virgin money offers this as well) then when your promotion on retail is coming to an end tranfer cash into your bank to pay off your retail spends. THis means you get a lot longer on the 0% to pay off the balance.

  3. You can apply for a student credit card or credit card for people who are new to credits. http://bestcreditcardratings.com/new-cre...

  4. There aren't a lot of cards specifically for under 21..but not to say there aren't any at all. You'll see these people lurking around college campuses all the time.

Capital One tends to have a lot of promotional rates. You might want to look them up. www.capitalone.ca

Bear in mind that Student Cards usually have no annual fees but not necessarily the best interest. If you're adamant about getting 0% you better be sure you have a very high credit score 700+

  5. This is the site that I used. The best thing to do is shop and compare, which I found really easy on this site because they have over 100 credit cards from different issuers so you don't have to jump from website to website looking at different companies. It sounds like a student card may be your best route to take. Just browse the offers and see which fits you better. They also have cards mentioned by other users if you want to check those out.

  6. There are some great cards out right now that offer 0% for upto 12 months. I just got one myself after I did some research at the following site. It doesn't matter if you are 21 or not because legally you have to be 18 to get a credit card. I would suggest picking one that doesn't have annual fee.
