I always straighten my hair but I want to shake it up a little bit and start curling it, although i fing curling something that takes alot of skill haha. Usually it seems like celebrities are the only ones who can pull itoff since they have personal professional hair stylists. I want to purchase a curling iron on folica.com and I want my hair to have like spiral curls kind of like this...

If anyone could please give me tips on how to make my hair like that and what curling iron to purchase that would be such a help! Thanks to anyone who attempts my question.

  1. First off... don't get a drugstore curling iron.  You need something of a higher quality.

Second, prep your hair with something to prepare it for the heat.

To get curls like those, WRAP your hair around the curling iron.  (this will give you fun waves, not barrel-curls like shirley temple).  Depending on how easily your hair curls you will have to hold it for 3-10 seconds.  Try different  times and then stick to the one that works best.  When the curl is finished, spray it with a flexible hold hairspray.  ("Shaper" is a good one).

At the end, run your fingers through your hair to give it the toussled look.

    Good luck :)

  2. I would recommend curling with granite instead as it holds better when you knock the rocks together I don't think the iron would do so well when it starts to get cold. Though it might slide quicker down the sheets of ice.

  3. if you straighten your hair it must be curly or wavy so why dont you stop usin your straightner

    ahhahahahahahahhahaha

  4. Ask your hair stylist... They could recommend the brand they use... And if you trust them with your hair, you should trust them on that...

  5. haha r u going to the olympics?
