I don't need to be a bandwagon fan, and I don't need to be a fan of the biggest winner. Personally I like watching the guys at DEI and like to keep an eye on the #1 car. No one hates Truex and he's fun to watch. He races clean and he makes that Chevy move! And I like his team mate in the #8. There are a few other guys with better equipment and more wins, and if the guys at DEI can out run them, it makes for an intense and exciting show, and proves some real NASCAR racing skill.

The only driver on the circuit that can say hes won a champ.in every type of racing hes ever done full-time is TONY STEWART his car doesn't have to be perfect to win like some of these drivers[ Gordan , Johnson,ect] if Tonie's car is close and Sadler doesnt wreck him he can win!![if he doesnt blow a tire}

I have to say Tony Stewart. He can drive and win in any kind of car, at any track or, any kind of track. Also he never gives up no matter what. I also like how he is not afraid to speak his mind. Some people call it whining or complaining, but I call it the way Tony is.

KYLE BUSH

I am a Jeff Gordon and JJ fan, I have been watching since 94. I loved the days of Rusty, Dale Sr, and Jeff always battling for it.

I tell you, I don't know why he did but Rick Henrick seemed hasty to rid his team of Little Ricky Henrick's drivers (Kyle Bush and Brian Vickers). Rickey worked hard to get those two in the cup series and was a great owner when they were in the Busch and Craftsman series.

I loved the Days of Jeff, Jimmie Brian Vickers and Kyle Bush.

Today they would be no match for any other team. Many races would have at least two drivers from the Henrick team in the top four if not all.

Kyle Bush is the Closest thing to Dale Earnhardt we will ever see.   Kyle is only 22 and already looks like Dale Sr at age 30.  Kyle may be the best drive to ever drive a Nascar ride, or any other ride. The boy can drive anything and WIN!!!

If you go by history,then jeff Gordon...right now,Jimmie is the best driver on the track(don't even bother to comment on the slow start this year cuz we all know he will show what he has when it counts,as always) and has been since 2002 when he started,Truex isn't even close,and Jr. must have been a driver you added in there to give people a little chuckle

That's my choices? Technically speaking, Jimmy Johnson. Course, he's got the god of all crew chiefs on his side. Jr is showing some stuff this season- is it the machinery or the personnel change? Truex has a lot going for him, he's just in one of those slumps. When he's racing, he's RACING. Jeff Gordon is the smartest driver in NASCAR, but that doesn't make his ride go any faster, does it?

i would say jeff gordon .and to the people saying kyle busch`s  name should realize that the only reason he seems good this year is because he is in a joe gibbs toyota which has more horse power than every other brand ,and i can`t wait till nascer see this and tone them down some more and when they do that kyle busch be talked about

Jimmie Johnson [back to back championships & a great personality]

Kyle Busch [running in all 3 series, has won at least 2 races in each one. leading the cup points]

& Carl Edwards isn't too bad & neither is Tony Stewart.

I would have to go with Tony Stewart.  The day I became a Stewart fan was the day I heard he is the Indy 500 and the 600 in the same weekend.  He has proven he can drive anything and some of the passes and saves I have seen him do have really be unmatched by anyone else.  

Watch out for team Gibbs here in the near future.  KyBucsh kicking it on, Hamlin and Stewart are both amazing drivers and young Joey Logano who looks like he has a chance to be the next King Ding-a-ling.

JimmIE Johnson has been the best driver in the cup series since he has been driving in it full time (2002).  He leads all the major statistical categories in that period of time and has won the last 2 championships.  Until somebody dethrones him I don't know who else you could pick.  Drivers get on hot streaks all the time but Jimmie has NEVER finished worse than 5th in the final standings and also been the runner up twice in in the last 6 years plus he has won the most races since then.
