Best Digi Cam - Nikon? Canon? or Sony?

Im desperate to find a good camera! An affordable camera yet has great excellent functions - esp

1) lens that can rotate (e.g. Powershot canon)

2) great Macro shot (SLR type)

3) face/smile detection

4) can adjust to different lightings (has many 'scenes')

5) Battery can be charged or can use AA/ or AAA battery

6) light,easy to carry

2nd question> does high mega pixel camera means good camera???

* those who has camera pleasse please tell me ur recommendation n y i shud get it

Hard to find all those features rolled into one. I own a Sony T300, I find it great. Take  it from an amateur who really knows photography next to nothing!

it helps to understand some of the jargon so you dont get sold a camera based on the "megapixels"

you need a balance of features, sensor, and glass. (lens)

you can have a 10 megapixel camera with a c**p lens and guess what...it'll take very large c**p pictures.  :-)
