Best Digital Camera for my Mom?

Question

So for my mom's birthday in July, my brother and sisters and I are all going to go in on a digital camera for my mom. What camera would be the best fit for her with these guidlines??

1. Easy to use (my mom's not technology savy).

2. Not too expensive but still very good quality. (Between $150-300...about?)

Also, what type of memory do you sugest? Thank you.

my mom isnt computer/electronic savvy either...so we bought her a kodak "easy" share..and she knows how to take pictures, view them and erase them without much assistance. She still makes me upload them to the computer...But Kodaks are pretty user friendly..although i personally prefer Nikon, Olympus and Sony...

Oh and i Suggest SD memory because they seem more popular..and try to find a camera that comes with a charger verses, sone that takes batteries. Its far more easier to just plug ur camera in and let it charge prior to using it..

I have the Canon Powershot SD750 and I love it. It's extremely easy to use and takes great pictures - indoors AND outdoors. I use SD memory with it also because thats what was recommended. I got mine for about $300 but it was definitely worth it.
