Question:

Best Digital SLR that Dell sells?

I have a shot at doing magazine photography and want to buy a new digital camera. I am buying from Dell. I can't decide and need help!!! It must be at least 10 megapixels and it must have a good lens either included or available from Dell also.

I have been into photography for years but I have always shot film and now I do not have that option. I have always used a Canon but I am open to Nikon, etc... Thank you!!!

  1. hi there.... you can look at this site http://onlinedigitalphotographycourses.b... I found at google last meek

  2. Dell can sell any digital camera on the market.  They order from Tech Data, so anything you can find online, you can get from Dell.  I would recommend the Olympus E-510 for its small size, image stabilization, and amazing feature set.  The battery lasts for hundreds of pictures as well.

Of course, you can get it with the two lens kit from Amazon.com for over $100 less than from Dell (unless you know someone at Dell) but if it has to be Dell, I understand.

If you are truly wanting to get the BEST one they sell, be prepared to spend several thousand dollars (and waste most of it).

  3. I would advise against buying anything above an entry-level DSLR.  People might tell you that you'll eventually want to upgrade to a higher-grade camera, so why not just save the money and buy one now?  But the improvements generally don't justify the huge price difference, especially for new camera buyers.

Here are some good options.  I only know about Canon and Nikon, but Pentax, Sony, Olympus, etc. have good cameras too.

Canon XTi (body only with a separate lens) <- doesn't have Live View, but it's cheap

    Canon XSi (kit)

    Nikon D60

    Nikon D80 (if it's cheap)

    Sony A300

Really any camera at this level will be pretty good.
