Best Digital Voice Recorder for Classical Voice Students?

Does anyone know which digital voice recorder is the best for voice lessons but within a reasonable price range?? There are kids at school who use particular ones but they all cost over $100 .............and I'd be willing to spend it if there wasn't another alternative

I'm pretty sure a class lecture from a distance in a large lecture hall records differently than a singing lesson with a piano in a small room, so maybe I'd need a different voice recorder than the ones they offer for recording lectures....?

The Zoom recorders are MUCH better for recording music and voice than the standard lecture recorders - and some are not a lot more money
