well what is what i use and is the most common video file format is divx this video format is near dvd quality but takes up only a bit of space so a two hour movie will only be about 700 mb. so i just give you the link for divx http://www.divx.com/. on the site you ll only need to get the codex for the playback and the converter. also if you have to convert your videos you can use super. the link for super is http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
