Question:

Best Eye Drops for Contact Lenses - UK?

by  |  earlier

Hello,

I would like to buy around 10 little eye drop bottles suitable for hydrating eyes that have contact lenses in.

I would like them to be cheap, but not to compromise quality.

Where can I get them? What ones should I get.

Thanks =)

  1. Hi Stephen

    I buy Refresh contacts . They are 20 individual tubes of solution . Especially designed for contacts .You can buy them at Boots for around £4-99. Somtimes they are on offer. Which makes them extra good value . As well as very hygenic to use.

  2. I use blink, you can buy them from boots chemists. All they are is artificial tears and they're brilliant.

  3. Refresh plus. They are great

  4. As another post has said - Refresh Contact drops are very good.

    The ones I use however are http://www.visiondirect.co.uk/product.ph...

    The BLINK drops.

    You can either buy the packs of 20 individual drops, or the 15ml bottles, which last longer, but obviously aren't as hygienic.

    Ensure that they are the ones for contacts and not for whitening eyes, as the eye whiteners are not designed for contacts!

    You can buy the Blink drops in most good chemists, hoever if you are UK-based, Boots have the best price currently with a BOGOF offer (or at least they did have the last time I was there!)

  5. I am not sure about a brand name but my eye doctor said it is best to get the little pouches to you tear open and use them once and then throw them out.  She said it is better for your eyes.
