Best Friend of 6 years getting married --> what are my responsibilities?

My best friend of six years is getting married in the spring. I am really excited for it and I have been a bridesmaid before, but I think this time is a little bit different. Everyone on the girls side is pretty young (me and my other friend are 20, and the maid of honour is 18). What are my responsibilities for bachelorette parties, showers, and stag and does (also called buck and does). I know that normally the maid of honour looks after all of that stuff, but should I offer to plan something? (My sister got married last year so I have a good idea of what is involved in each thing).

What are your thoughts?

Ask the maid of honor if she needs any assistance and let the bride know you are available for anything she may need help with.  

Your responsibilities aren't any different than when you were a bridesmaid in the other weddings.  Some things you will probably help with are invitations, favors, paying for you clothing and shoes, helping the couple choose vendors and location sites, running various errands, and offering support during the stress of planning a wedding.
