Best Hardtail Mountain Bike for $450 USD & Under that can be bought Online...?

HI, I need a little help, I've set my mind on a Hardtail Mountain that is under $450 USD, but I don't know which brand to choose. it seems like the Iron Horse Maverick 5.5 Mountain Bike at www.performancebike.com is the only bike that fits in the range. "I can only buy it online" so please recommend other good online site. For some reason I don't like Mongoose bikes..

The Iron Horse Maverick or Iron Horse Warrior series bikes are really good starter bikes you can get under $450. Performance Bicycles (www.performancebike.com) is a very reputable retailer. They have one of the best deals on complete bikes.

For your height, I would say 20.5"  bike size is good for you.

You really ought to "try it on" rather than go online, especially for your first bike.   Fit and frame dimensions are pretty important.  

The Iron Horse isn't a bad choice in that price range.    

Performance does have a lot of brick and mortar stores, so I'd suggest having a look if that's feasible.

Sorry if you don't like the answer.  Fit is important.   If you've been riding as long as I have, you probably know what frame dimensions (top tube length as well as seat tube) and angles will work for you.   In that case, online is OK.
