Pls recommend me which is the best location with nice & romantic hotels or resorts to stay at? preferable 1,800-2,800Bath.

for yourbudget samui cliff view resort...otherwise the tongsai bay villas.

There are numerous hotels on Samui to stay at - but it depends on which beach you are planning to stay.

There are many nice places along Chaweng beach for that price.  You should be able to just walk into one that looks nice.  Not all are on the internet but I suggest you search here for good ones:

Samui First House would have to be one of the best value for money resorts around, close to the center of Chaweng, 25 to 30 minute walk (or jump on the baht bus). Great breakfast with a chef cooking your eggs on the spot any way you like them.

Couple mini marts around the corner. 35 baht for a mini snack size snicker - ouch! :) Go eat at breezy restaurant and in front of the restaurant there is Thailand's best pancake maker - kinda like watching a Japanese teppanyaki show.

We booked all our tours through the hotel because they offered a free airport transfers (one way) if you spent more than 5000 baht on tours. Tour cost were the same and the transfers saved us 450 baht.
