Best Late Night Restaurants in San Francisco?

My Senior Prom is coming up and we have the limo until 2:30. Since prom ends at midnight, my friends and I wanted to get something to eat afterwards.

Does anyone know a restaurant that's really affordable and has a good atmostphere?

  1. Nopa is awesome. It's only open until 1, but they have  amazing desserts; try the mexican coffee ice cream sandwich with almond milk, or their rice pudding with dates and oranges. both might fix a post-prom sweet tooth.

Address, phone number, link to menu, etc:

Have a great time at prom!

  2. there's a cafe in North Beach that stays up late w/ goof food.

Not sure of the name but it's across the street from a famous comedy club I can't think of the name right now.

  3. DeNNy'S...

  4. The Grubsteak is open really late (after 2:30am). On Pine @ Van Ness.

  5. NOPA

    560 Divisadero St , San Francisco , CA , 94117

  6. A 2nd vote for La Rondalla, there's also El Zocalo on Mission and 29th, Mel's on Geary, the Pinecrest on Union Square, Sam Wo's in Chinatown, and Little Orphan Andy's in the Castro.

  7. la  rondalla on valencia   great

  8. Mel's on Geary at  Van Ness or Stanyen is open late.  Typical diner food.

Cafe Mason on Mason at O'farrell is a cut above diner food.

For a really uniqe experience try Globe or Nopa two restaurants that are open till 1am  and that are favorites with the restaurant workers!  The folks who know food!

  9. dont go to kelutos. that place sucks. i paid 18 bucks for 8 pieces of ravioli which also taste like c**p. dont go to king of thai either.. theres 2. one of them is horrible. the 1 where you turn around the corner of westfield. i forgot how much i paid but i think it was 15 bucks for some supposedly thai noodles but it was just like chinese chow fun cept in small servings. if you avoid those 2 places, you should be pretty much safe for the night

  10. Tommy's Joynt on Van Ness and Geary.  Its an SF institution.  Its cheap and great food...but extremely casual and not exactly trendy.  Open until 1:45am.  If you don't like it, Mel's Diner is right across the street.
