Best Natural Juice for kids ?

We're going organic little by little and starting off with the stuff my son eats so I'm looking for a natural fruit juice for kids.

My son drinks water and milk all day but i would like to add juice to his diet since he's been picky with food lately.

I've seen a commercial from Juicy Juice about their new Harvest Surprise juice... it has both fruits and veggies. We purchased a bottle and my son liked it.

The problem is i dont really know if its good or not. I would like to keep it as natural as possible without having to buy a juicer and make my own.

(by the way he'll be 2 in a couple months)

  1. Why not buy your own juicer.  That way all the juice your son takes will be fresh.

  2. I would strive to avoid anything with corn syrup or other added sweeteners.

Juice in general is less nutritious than eating the whole fruit but it is certainly better for kids than the alternatives.

I would try pomegrante, grapefruit, and carrot. All of those are vitamin powerhouses.

Try to limit juice to a couple servings a day at the most. Natural sugar is still sugar and can lead to obesity and diabetes if over done.

  3. I was going to say orange juice with vodka in it so it does not freeze up, but then I saw his age, I would go with the brandy instead.

    Kidding, apple juice

  4. We buy organic apple cider (the no suger added kind) from a local place.  It is the best for the kids, & they love it.
