Best Online Stock Broker?

Question

What would be the best online stock broker for just investing and saving for the long term? Will also be doing some trades like buying low and selling high. What are the fees and minimum amount to start an account?

I'm not looking to do day trades just yet.

I have been trading with TD Ameritrade for a few years and have found it has meet all my needs.

I would at least take a look at it, as for fees it is 10.99 a trade a little more than some.Not sure what the minimum is could be a $1000. Yes like you if I can I buy low and sell high,and do look for dividend stock.

I currently use Firstrade http://www.firstrade.com/.  They are $6.95 per trade and do not have any minimum requirements to start an account.  They are great for long run because they offer free dividend reinvestment (DRIPs).  You should definitely check them out.
