I know nothing about PDA since I've never used one... I would like a pda with cell phone to reduce the amount of things to carry in the hospital... sometimes I feel like an ambulant shop!... but I don´t know if the treo windows mobile is good enough for medical applications... so... Palm TX or Treo 750 Windows mobile?????????

Thank u for ur help!

  1. Try the Treo from Verizon

  2. Just so you know, the TX is not a phone.

A good idea would be to go to your cell phone company's website and look at all the PDAs/Smartphones they have available.  I think something with Windows Mobile 6 would be your best bet.

  3. Best bet, if you're sure you want a Treo over a BlackBerry, is to get the newest phone running Windows OS 6. I know a few physicians that use the new LG from Verizon (white with a touch screen and a navigational button at the bottom) as well as many more using BlackBerry devices. However, the Treo seems to be less than reliable yet still very popular. It's not the worst phone on the market by a long shot but the 755 and 655 are the newest models and, I've been told, are the least buggy when compared to their predecessors.

  4. Hello,

Think of this: which computer system do you normally use?

The Palm operating system (Treo and others) works well

    on both PCs and MACs.

If you use Windows alot (PCs) and are familiar with that operating system, then use a Windows-based PDA/smart-

phone. However, as with Windows, the PDA/smartphone will use a handheld version of Windows. Granted, there are apps out there such as Peacemaker that will convert both systems

    from Windows<>Palm.

    Hope this helps
