  1. Hi there

Hmm.. assuming that 70-80 pounds is ~150$ in the US, I would say that most PRINCE speedport rackets won't do the job ( though I do like the spin potential for the O3 Hybrid hornet 99USD).

Wilson's ncode series( nPro or nBlade ) are good choices for well advancing players. They're relatively affordable.

Babolat's aeropro control is a good choice for control. Doesn't look too good tho.

The only other racket in your price range is the HEAD microgel Extreme Pro.  If you plan on becoming a decent player, this racket isn't too shabby.

  2. 70 to 80 pounds?  most racquets don't even weigh 1 pound.  I would go with something in the speedport series.

  3. Sorry, but you're not going to get the top range Prince rackets for 70 or 80 pounds. I know that the Prince O3 Hybrid Shark is about £80.

To be honest, you're going to need to raise your allowance even if you want the standard O3s. Most O3s are around £100-130. Ozones are around the same price.

However, O3 Speedports are more expensive as they're the newest range. They start at about £130 and can go up to as much as £180 depending on the retailer.

The most reliable place to buy rackets from in the UK is http://www.pwp.com

They're pretty good prices, but I've noticed their range of Prince rackets isn't great.

To be honest, you're best off finding a local sports shop because most sell good tennis rackets and seeing what you like. Without a full analysis of your game it's hard to tell you which racket to buy. All different rackets suit all different players.

  4. ... im a really good tennis player and i wouldnt advise you to go for a prince also your not getting the best prince racket for 80 pounds. I suggest going for a babolat aeropro its got nice power however you can generate alot of topspin with it. Hope it helps

  5. the O3 Speed Port

    i ware it.

  6. I think the O3 Speed Port is the best. Many pros use it, and two of my friends use it. Many people seem to like it for power and control, but personally, I don't enjoy it at all. I stick with Babolat.
