I'm planning a snowboarding trip for next spring [April], and I was wondering what a good place would be. I only know a few things like s curves. I've already been to Whisler so I don't want to go there again. If possible, I'd like it to be in North America and have an airport so there would be no driving, thanks.

  1. the reno/tahoe area has some pretty bad *** resorts, my personal favorite is mt. Rose. and then in washington has my favorite resort in the world and thats Mt. Baker.

  2. My personal recommendation is Big Mountain Montana.  It's a resort right outside of Whitefish montana.  I spent a week there and it was amazing.  The people there are great, lift tickets are extremely cheap, and the conditions are amazing.  I was there for spring break, and there was a 20 ft snowbase.  Another place I would recommend is Timberline resort in Mt. Hood, Oregon for the same reason..and they have year round riding

  3. You should try out in Quebec. Either Mt. Tremblant or Mt. St. Anne. Both very nice hills, plus they're not far from the city

  4. I'm not aware of any resorts that have an adjacent airport (those mountains and flat runways just don't mix well) so you are always going to have some driving. The Tahoe area has 20+ resorts that are within 1 hour of driving from the Reno airport so there would be a lot of choices.

    Good Luck
