  1. i've been en pointe for nearly 9 months and have gone through several pairs. Leo's are really easy to break in but if u have bunions (like me :] ) don't use them. For me blochs were WAY too hard. Today i got fitted and bought a pair of russain pointes at the russain pointe boutique. I love my new shoes and going there was a great experience

  2. i've only tried 2 brands of pointe shoes in my 6 years of being on pointe. I tried capezios for a while but ended up not like them very much. I really love gaynor minden's. They support your foot very well and last for quite a while.

but they're a lot more expensive than many brands. usually around $90-$100.

  3. It all depends on you. Everyone's feet are different, so everyone needs different pointe shoes. Try on different ones to see which work best for you. I use Russian Pointe, and they're about $80

  4. I like capezio the best.  Pointe shoes are usually between 70 and 100 dollars.  You can buy them at a dance store where they can help you get fitted which I highly recommend!  I also suggest the gel cushies that fit at the top of your foot as well as between your big toe.. it does wonders!

  5. Gaynor Minden are the best they are expensive about $120 but they should be at your local dance shop If you have not had these shoes before don't get them from the Internet if you need a leotard or tights or other dance shoes etc...you can get them from http://www.discountdance.com/index.php hope I helped =^..^=
