For my wedding, we're buying engraved pool cues for the groomsmen (all eight of them).

What is the best pool cue I can buy for all of them without spending over $100 each?

Thanks in advance!

  1. Do you intend for these cues to be functional or decorative?  There's always a heap of problems when buying cues for other people.  Eight different people are all going to have different ideas about what makes a good cue.  You could probably go to any major cue manufacturer and they might be able to cut you a deal if you're buying eight of them.  I wouldn't expect too much in terms of cue performance.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

P.S. Sorry to sound so negative.  Eightbraker has the right idea.  You are definitely a cool bride-to-be and I also offer my congratulations.

  2. wow what a great person you are ! id rather get a pool cue than some of the gifts i have seen handed out! ok we all know that weddings arent cheap so ... if you was looking at 100 bucks or close to tat, your best route is a players cue. but i would suggest to look up another brand of sticks if you would like to save some extra cash and still have a quality stick ! the sticks are called "rage" they are nice sticks with 100's of designs and they are great for the money. i have won plenty of money playing with a rage. i sell them for bout 55 bucks and if you find a dealer close to you and tell them ur looking at buying 8 then i am sure you could get some slack !!! well congradulations and wish you a good and happy marrige. hope i could be a help !

  3. Cuetec has a few cues that are nice cues for $100ish.  My first cue was a cuetec and it was true and decent for years.  Still have it.

    Good luck

  4. You already have the answers but CONGRATS any way

Players would be your best bet for the money

How bout an engraved plaque from a trophy shop on the case it would be cheaper and dont look to bad either just the engravivg is $25-$35 if the seller offers it on a stick

But like my freinds say thats a very good idea Good luck to Both of you

  5. Players(a name brand) has some good cues for under $100. I think they are the "best" recognized name for a cue stick at an affordable price. Cuetec would b my 2nd choice.

  6. Congrats on your upcoming wedding. Engraved pool cues for the groomsmen! Great idea! Who ever thought of that is okay in my book. Check out Players cues. They are pretty descent cues for under a hundred bucks. Lots of neat designs and stuff to choose from. Actually there are a lot of fairly good cues out there for that price range , shop around a little and see what kind of deals you can get. Seeing how these are gifts I'm sure they will be appreciated no matter what. Good luck to ya!
